Sylvia is a registered dietitian with over eight years of clinical experience. She is also a lecturer at the Auckland University of Technology and advocates for whole-food nutrition. Sylvia focuses on supporting metabolic health and preventing lifestyle diseases and has a special interest in women’s health. She assists her female clients in optimizing their hormonal health and fertility. Sylvia’s research during her PhD revolved around hyperinsulinemia during pregnancy and its dietary management implications for gestational diabetes. She has already published individual studies from her work in four peer-reviewed journals.
